The Municipality's strategy for the provision of affordable and reliable electricity to all households has been realised. The biggest achievement of Aganang Municipality is that it has managed to electrify all its villages, with exception of few new developed village extensions. The Municipality has achieved the National Development Target for electricity provision by 2014. Aganang is currently electrifying extensions with help from Eskom. The municipality also provides free basic electricity to indigents. Eight village extensions were electrified and 7 energized with a budget of around R24 million. Those village extensions are Vlakfontein Ext, Monyoaneng, Rammetlwane Ext, Mahwai Ext, Lonsdale, Mabopane, Mars, Diana, Jupiter and Kalkspruit.

In the coming financial year, the municipality has budgeted R6 million for extensions like Kgabo Park, Venus, Monotwane, Billingsgate and others. The municipality will continue the work of ensuring that every household is connected to the energy grid. In the past financial year the Municipality has been able to also complete other essential services like the construction of Creches at Pinki-Sebotse, Ga-Phago, Rankhuwe, Rametloana and Monotwane. Other capital projects implemented includes upgrading of Jupiter Hall, Upgrading of 4km road to Goedgevonden Clinic, 3km road from Mohlonong to Diana Clinic Phase 2, construction of speed humps, bus shelters at Mohlonong to Diana Clinic road.
